July Empties!

If you follow me on Instagram them some of you know I was doing a slightly different project 10 pan. I say slightly different because not shopping will never truly happen for me lol! So I decided to go through my stash and see what items I could try and put a dent in. Now I did use the ones I picked out almost everyday I got ready. But I of course didn't finish any of them because they were items I rarely used. But when putting together that project 10 pan it kind of turned into to like a project 25 pan LOL because I had items I wanted to try and actually get through and I actually succeed! Now I started my project 10 pan in June and kept all the packaging from the products I did finish and thanks to the lovely LeighAnnSays on Youtube I now have a title! EMPTIES! If you don't follow her your missing out she is so funny and a great youtuber!

                                                                  July Empties:

*John Frieda Full Repair Full Body Shampoo- Now I got this so long ago and I literally have a horrible habit of rotating shampoos and conditioners lol I buy more even though I don't need more...it's madness! I store my unfinished ones in a cabinet in my bathroom and while looking through my stash I saw this and I remembered I loved the way it smelled and worked. So I pulled it out and after using it all up I want more lol! It is such a great shampoo and smells so good!

*Maybelline Lumi Pen Concealer in Nude Chair- Ok so I don't remember the exact name of this product as you can tell the printing on the packaging was horrible and everything started rubbing off the first day I got it...come on Maybelline if you want me to repurchase something put a sticker on it that says what it is because I am old and my memory isn't to great these days... Or at least invest in better printing lol! Other then that I loved the product. So using this up was not a problem at all. I don't think I will repurchase this just because I am loving my Clinique Line Smoothing Concealer so much.

*NARS Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eye Shadow Base- I love this stuff. I went through it without even putting in effort really lol. As man bloggers have. I have a stash of deluxe samples (Thank you Sephora, BirchBox,& BeautyArmy!) So I figured this would be the first to use up. I love NARS products and this is no exception. Great primer! I am sure at one point or another I will get the full size. But yet again I have so many I really don't need it right now.

*Revlon Color Stay Base Coat- I love, love, love this base coat. I have a few other base coats OPI, Sally Hansen, Milani, and I still reached for this one all the time. I just love how well it holds on my nail polish. It's not to thin (like OPI) and Not to thick (like Milani's base coat) it is perfectly in the middle. So yes I will be repurchasing this. It only has some left in the bottle because it got tacky at the end and I have no clue why.

*Seche Vite- I love this top coat. I dries super fast, leaves a gorgeous shine and I used it so fast it was crazy. The only thing I hate is the fact that it did indeed finally get "goopy" lol There is no point in getting the restore (for this bottle) since there is such a small amount left I think I will pick that up as well when I pick up a new bottle though.

*Weleda Wild Rose Smoothing Facial Lotion- Now I did like this lotion for how well it worked but I wasn't to keen on the scent. It is an odd smell to me. But I happened to be having a break out when I started using this up and it worked wonderfully. It made my skin feel so soft and actually had a soothing effect on my skin. I won't repurchase it just because of the scent though.

*Beyonce Heat Rush- I love this perfume and used it like a mad women when I first got it. Then I started to ration it as I got towards the middle of the bottle lol. But I decided it was time to just use it up. So now I will be picking up a full size because I still love it!

*Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer- I love this lotion because it gives me such a nice slight tan. I have two of the travel sizes. I got through this one and half of my other one. The scent still has a hint of faux tanner lol but not to over powering. I don't know if everyone smells it or if it's just me because I know what fake tanner smells like. I will repurchase of course.

*Ojon Volume Advance Volumizing Shampoo- First things first I hate the smell of all Ojon hair products! lol Everything I have tried just does not smell good. I am a sucker for a good scent. But that being said it is a good shampoo. Here is the slight kicker. I got this in one of my BirchBoxes recently and I have taken the survey at the beginning when I signed up over a year and a half ago and I put I have thick, dry hair. Yet this shampoo is for FINE, LIMP, FLAT hair! I thought that was funny lol! I decided to use it anyways and will say it was nice but the scent just is to much for me so I won't be repurchasing it.

*Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Sleep Night Time Tea Lotion- This was my last bottle of this amazing lotion. I have a few saved from when they had a sale after Christmas. I can not wait until they bring it back because it is my all time favorite lotion. This time I will be hoarding this stuff! LOL

There are my Empties for the month of July! I hope you guys enjoyed this post. Now on to see what I can use up in August! LOL

Hits & Misses: Peach/Coral Lipsticks & Glosses!

One of my favorite trends for the Summer was to wear Peach/Coral shades on my lips I have accumulated quite a few in the last few months and thought I would share with you all my thoughts on the ones I found great and the ones in my opinion you could pass on.

♥HIT
✘MISS

Lip Glosses:

♥Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Coral Reef- This is such an amazing lip gloss. Not only is it gorgeous and perfect for the Summer months. But, it also is NOT sticky. I really dislike sticky lip glosses no matter how great the shade is.
✘Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Peach Petal- I like the formulation of this lip gloss. The only reason this is a no go for me is because of the shade it washes me out a lot.
♥ShowCase Lip Play Gloss in Number 6- This is a gloss I won from the lovely Gloria's giveaway and I have loved it ever since. It is a shade deeper then Revlon Peach petal and therefore more wearable. Plus, it is not sticky, has an amazing wand, and smells like peaches! Amazing!
✘ELF Mineral Lip Gloss in Wild- This I do like for a subtle touch of color. But it really does not have very much pigmentation or staying power. For that reason I would pass on this.

♡Swatches♡ (L-R)
ShowCase #6, Revlon Coral Reef, ELF Wild, Revlon Peach Petal

Lip Sticks:

♥NYX Pumpkin Pie- This is a gorgeous Nudey Peach shade. I have loved it for such a long time and really recommend it.
✘Wet N Wild Just Peachy- This is a pretty shade but I wouldn't repurchase it because it slightly washes me out and because of the formulation of these line of lipsticks are very drying.
♥Revlon Lipstick in Peach- I love this shade and Revlon makes the best drug store lipsticks that I have tried. This shade is pigmented and flattering.
✘Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait- I know tons of people love this shade. I am a fan of the Revlon lip butters but this shade is not pigmented enough to do anything to noticeable to my lips.
♥Sleek True Colour Lipstick in Barely There- If you can get your hands on this you must!!! It is such a beautiful lip color and I have found nothing that is a dupe for it here in the states. The formulation is just amazing and the pigmentation is perfect in one swipe!
♥Josie Maran Lipstick in Luscious- I love this shade for Winter. Since this is a Josie Maran product it of course contains Argan Oil so you know how amazing it feels.
♥Rimmel London Kate Lipstick in #12- This is such a pigmented shade. I really like the formulation it. Compared to other Rimmel lipsticks I have like Airy Fairy this one is much more hydrating.

Review: Milani Color Play Felt Tip Liquid Pen Liners!

Early last week I picked up two of the new Milani Color Play Felt Tip Liquid Pens. I love trying out new liners. All though I do have my favorite liquid liner which is from Lorac. I am always looking for a cheaper alternative.

Packaging:

  • Sturdy; doesn't feel super cheap
  • Lid closes snuggly
  • Felt tip isn't to stiff or too bendy

Shades:

  • 6 Shades Avaliable
  • I have the shades Black & Jaded Edge

Price:
  • Retails for $6.99 (at Walgreen's)

Pigmentation:

  • I have been loving the Black. I really love the finish. It has a slightly glossy finish.
  • Jaded Edge, I love because it is a matte finish and it is very pigmented and such a soft moss green shade!

Wear Time:

  • I will say the Black lasted slightly longer then Jaded Edge. Wear time for black was easily 8 hours. I took it off after that.
  • Jaded Edge started to break down after about 5-6 hours. I do believe that is due to the matte finish.

                                                                           Swatches:
Black

I will say that although these aren't a replacement for my Lorac Front of the Line Pro. (brush tip liquid liner) It has been the best felt tip liner I have ever tried.  I want to pick up one more and a back up of the black.

Questions?

Have you guys tried the new Milani Color Play Felt Tip Liquid Pen Liners?

If so which shades?

Review: Loreal True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous MakeUp!

Last week one of my favorite IG'ers Emily_MySecretGlam (Ig name, Follow her she is gorgeous and amazing!) posted a beautiful picture and she was saying how much she loved the New Loreal True Match Lumi Foundation. I had been trying to resist getting it. But after seeing Emily's posts and talking to her about it. She made my mind up for me LOL! So I got it and I LOVE it! So I figured I needed to share my thoughts with my lovely followers out there.

Packaging:

In my opinion the best packaging of a drug store foundation I have owned! Even yes my beloved Neutrogena Healthy Skin it's main flaw being its packaging. I love that the Loreal True Match Lumi foundation comes not only with a pump but that it works all the time every time I have used it. It lets out just enough product. 2 1/2 small pumps does my entire face.

Price Tag:

At $13.99 I have seen quite a few people complain about the price tag for it being a drug store foundation. But as a person who was strictly a high end foundation lover for years. I will tell you drug store cosmetic companies have been killing it these days with their products they have been releasing. So I don't mind the price tag for great quality.

Shade:

I wear the shade C3 Creamy Natural in the Cool tone line up. I love that this foundation has Neutral, Warm, & Cool tones to choose from!

Texture & Finish:

Now I am a stickler for foundations that look cakey and unnatural! I can tell by just feeling a foundation with my finger weather I am going to love it or hate it. In my mind Loreal True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Makeup gets an A+++ for texture and finish. It has the perfect consistency to provide beautiful coverage but radiates your own natural beauty through this foundation...no flaws just beauty! The finish is my favorite slightly dewy but not unnatural. To me when I think of dewy skin I think of  just cleansed, toned, and moisturized skin. That subtle healthy glow to your skin that comes with it! This foundation provides that.

I will finish by saying bravo Loreal Paris! You have a winner on your hands and I for one will be repurchasing it as long as it's sold!

Questions:

Have you tried the new Loreal Paris True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous MakeUp?
What did you think of it?

*Real Techniques Your Eyes/Enhanced Starter Set- I seriously only got this kit for one brush! lol But after using almost all of them today. I can say it is a great kit.I do own four of the individually sold Real Techniques brushes by Sam Chapman also & I love them. They are really affordable and so soft! I love the handles on the brushes as well. So sturdy and they don't feel cheap at all.

*Mario Badescu Skin Care Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs & Rosewater- Mario Badescu's line of skin care saved my Bipolar skin! Lol So I am always looking for new items to try. I have almost bought this a few times online but always talked myself out of it! Man am I glad I got it. Since I don't wear make up all the time I try really hard to keep my skin vibrant and soft. So when I actually saw this in person and all the things you can do with it and for only $7.00 I was sold! June Favorites!

So this month I have so many favorites and for once I did constantly use the same items almost everyday. Which is really rare for me. But I got some new items I have been addicted to and rediscovered some items while cleaning out my stash.

                                                                   June Favorites:

Face Products:

*Neutrogena Healthy Skin Foundation in #40 Nude- Now this is no surprise that it's in my faves because it really is my favorite drug store foundation. But when my skin is giving me trouble I always reach for this or my Skin79 BB Cream. For some reason my skin was quite awful this month and I had to regulate on it with this foundation! Lol I don't know what it is about this foundation but it is just great for my skin.
*Revlon ColorStay Whipped Creme Makeup in #220 Nude- Now I wanted to try this out the minute my Walgreens put it out which was way over a month ago now and I finally caved because I only had to pay $1.29 for it when Rite Aid was having their BOGO 1/2 off on Revlon (color stay products) sale and you also got 4 dollars in Up rewards when you spent $10.00 I bought a few items an almost got this completely free. But I am really glad I did. I like the coverage this gives and the finish on me is not matte & not dewy it is a quite neutral finish which I find quite odd but I like it. The color matches me perfectly! I really love the texture of this as well.
*Clinique Line Smoothing Concealer in #03 Moderately Fair- This is such a great foundation it brightens up my under eye area and provides amazing coverage. I even like this better then the MAC moisture cover concealer. I discovered this while watching Sam from Pixiwoo on Youtube ages ago talking about it and decided I needed to try it out when I ran out of my Maybelline Lumi pen. Great product!

Eyes Products:

*ELF Eye Brow Kit in Light- Now the powder is a close dupe for MAC Omega and that is a favorite for people when doing their brows. But since I randomly fill in my brows I didn't feel the need to run out and get Omega. But this powder matches my brows perfectly! So I have filling in my brows a bit more lately.
*Revlon Brow Fantasy in Light Brown- Now I do not use the pencil side of this I just use Gel side lightly to set my brows. Especially if I am going somewhere for a long period of time.
*LORAC Front of the Line Pro Liquid Eyeliner in Black- This hands down is my favorite liquid liner. It is a brush tip and goes on black as night and does not pull or tug on my already delicate hooded eyes. This is my second one and I am addicted!
*Mabelline Lash Stiletto in Brownish Black- Okay I grabbed Brownish Black totally by accident but honestly it looks black on me lol so I was like I don't care lol! It give the most gorgeous "your lashes but better effect" I have ever seen. I have gone for minimal this month with my make up and love how this tie together those looks. If I want a more dramatic effect I just combine this with my Clinique Mascara that I love.

*Shiseido Eye Lash Curler- Hands down my favorite lash curler I have ever tried...that's all I can really say lol

Cheek Products:

*Sleek Face Contour Kit in Light- I have been addicted to the bronzer side this month! If you can get your hands on this it is so worth it!
*Joise Maran Wildflower Powder Palette- I have been loving the two blushes and bronzer in this palette. The blushes are Little Kisses and Baby Cheeks and the bronzer is more of a light rose gold highlight! Soooo gorgeous!

Lip Products:

*Blistex Restore- This makes my lips so soft. I use this mainly at night and if my lips are crazy then during the day as well. This came in a set of two (one day, one night treatment) if you have difficult lips like I do try this one at night Oh my goodness the only thing that restores my lips back to their lushious self LOL!
*Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains in:
Honey- I wear this multiple times a week and this was the one I first picked up 6 weeks ago! (sadly I had to check my IG to remember that LOL!)
*Precious- Oh my gosh I love this shade it leaves the most simple gorgeous nude shade on my lips! Which is odd is I never see this shade on all the displays. I found this at Rite Aid but my Walgreen's doesn't even have this shade marked on it's display....odd right. I now have four of these in total and just love them.
*Revlon Color Burst Lip Gloss in EggNog- This is from the Christmas collection and since I got it back then I use it sparingly lol because it is hands down my favorite nude gloss.
*L'Oreal Colour Riche Lippie in Sheer Linen- I love this shade so much. I like the "balms" they came out with a while ago and own 2 but this took it up to a different level.

Miscellaneous Products:

*Wet N Wild Fergie Collection Polish in Tonight's Gonna Be A Good Night!: I love this glitter polish and currently have it on with Essie's Topless & Barefoot as the base color on my toes! I get so many compliments!
*Amika Oil Treatment- I got this in a BirchBox Wow like 6 months ago and never touched it. But then I ran out of my Macadamia Natural Oil Healing Oil and decided to try this out. I really am loving it!
*Bio-Oil- I have been loving this for my dry legs- I have been using it for 2 months now at night time and it just makes my legs so soft!
So there are my favorites for the month of June. If you guys want any reviews on any of the products mentioned let me know in the comment section below.
